| |  | | dellme | How to I replace the keyboard on my laptop? (a few keys fell off) | | Hi everybody, I have a Dell Latitude E6500 laptop. I got it about 2 years ago. And for some reason the keys keep popping off. This has never happened to me before with other laptops. Before that I had an IBM ThinkPad and never had any problems. Anyway, first the letter "S" came off, which was really annoying because I always used it. I glued it back on, but I had to press real hard on it, so much so I started getting a pain in my arm! Then I lost "e," which is also a very popular letter. So anyway, I called Dell and they sent me a new one. I thought about just taking it to the computer store down the road but I don't really want to have to pay for them to fix it, especially because I think it's something I can probably do on my own. Then again, I don't want to screw it up and make it worse, like, do something wrong, yknow? So I'm wondering if anyone has had this problem and has suggestions. Thanks! |
